Aug-15-07Great News! Ontario judge Margaret Macaulay is BACK!! Just over 4 weeks ago she suffered a serious fall and broke her hip. She had surgery to implant a steel plate, and has been recuperating. Today she judged again at Port Huron test session. Yay Margaret!!

Aug-26-04Attention trial judges: There are Jr and Sr Pair tests in Hillsbourough, NC at the Central Carolina SC on Sunday, August 29, 2004. The same team, coached by Priscilla Hill, will be taking both tests to compete Senior Pairs. Contact test chair Kevin Elvin, through email (SuzandKev@aol.com). The test session will be in the morning from about 8am until 12:45. The nearest airport is Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and Kevin can provide the number for a reasonable hotel also.

Nov-15-02The USFSA Board of Directors set TENTATIVE dates for all Regionals, Sectionals and Junior Nationals through 2008 at the Nov 2002 Bd of Directors Meeting. You can check out the list on my Competitions page at List of All Future Qualifying Comps (near the top). All dates are subject to approval by Governing Council.

Jul-30-02A Performance Enhancement Training Seminar will be given by Christy Krall on August 3-4, 2002, at the Glacier Ice Arena in Vernon Hills, IL, (northern suburb of Chicago). The Saturday seminar covers moves in the field for all levels, and is open to skaters, coaches, and judges. A 2 year MIF credit will be given to judges for attending. Feb-21-02A.L. Wolanchuk passed away last night, following a long battle with Alzheimer*s. He was the father of Karen and husband of Lydia Wolanchuk, both Michigan judges. Funeral will be held Saturday Feb 23 (details).

Jul-09-01There will be a JETS seminar for dance test judges in Minneapolis on the weekend of August 18/19. Judge-in-charge is Kathleen Flaherty. The seminar is sponsored by the Twin City FSA and will be held at the Milwaukee Road Ice Depot. It will cover dance tests up to gold, and possibly International.
